On Wednesday 20th November the year 7/8 netball team played Greenwood academy at home. The team were eager to get another game under their belt as this was only their second fixture of the season. The newly formed squad impressed in all areas of attack and defence. St Edmund Campion dominated the first half with consistent shooting from our goal shooter, allowing us to gain a 6-0 lead at half time. Greenwood came back a little stronger in the second half and managed to score a goal but Campion continued to push on leaving a final score of 9-1. Our goal shooter was awarded ‘Lady of the Match’ but overall it was a fantastic team effort with everyone dominating their positions and linking passes superbly up and down the court. Special thanks to our two year 13 students who helped coach and support. Well done girls!
