On Friday 4th October, Year 9 were visited by the BBC Radio 1XTRA roadshow. Students had the opportunity to gain careers advice from people working in a variety of different industries. There were 3 panellists a rap artist, a Radio 1 producer and a social media influencer/comedian. Students got the opportunity to listen to their stories and how they have achieved the success in their chosen fields. The underlying message from all the panellists was that students must work hard, and all their aspirations and dreams are achievable. Year 9 asked some insightful questions and took a lot from the experience. I would like to say how proud I am of all year 9 students from the way they behaved, listened and showed our visitors how they are all true Campionites.
