On Tuesday morning year 7 visited the Thinktank Museum in Birmingham. The students had the opportunity to explore all three floors, allowing them to experience medicine through the ages, steam engines, talking robots, gurgling guts and a chocolate wrapping machine. The students really enjoyed the interactive performance “Science of Sport” which talked about inertia, balance and reaction times. To conclude the day, students arrived back at school to reflect on the day – creating a diary entry and storyboard on what they had learnt from the experience. The students represented St Edmund Campion to the highest standard. Well done year 7!
