The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing seven primary schools and two secondary schools. Our schools are based in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington and Aston.

The Governors of St Edmund Campion Catholic School wish to appoint a passionate, driven and committed teacher of Girls PE to work within our very successful PE department. The successful candidate will need to be able to teach PE at key stages 3 and 4. We offer both the BTEC Sport and Leisure at Key Stage 4 and Post 16 as well as GCSE PE.

 

The position would suit an enthusiastic individual who is an ECT or a more experienced practitioner. We would consider someone who would like to work part time and this can be discussed at interview. Please indicate in your application if this is something you would like to consider.

This post also carries a TLR2b for overseeing the school’s rich extra curricula programme which includes outdoor education such as DoE and for being the school’s designated educational visits coordinator. The successful candidate will need to be someone who is passionate about providing young people with additional opportunities to enhance their school experience as well as someone who is organised and pays attention to detail. The teaching load for this role will recognise the time required for this additional post.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to make a difference to the practice of colleagues across the school and the education of our young people. The position would suit an enthusiastic individual who has experience of teaching Geography at Key stages 3 and 4. The opportunity for teaching A level Geography will be available to the right candidate. As lead practitioner the successful candidate will also work with our Quality of Education team across the school and will coach members of staff and contribute to our vibrant school CPD programme. The successful candidate will also have a whole school responsibility which will be decided on appointment.
