The St Edmund Campion Journey
As Year 7 begin their learning journey with us it is very fitting to celebrate the success of our Year 13 students who have been great ambassadors for our school and show what seven years of hard work, deliberate practice and effort can lead to.
Our Sixth Formers achieved 70% A*-C in their A-Level examinations with 38% of grades at A*, A or B. Once again, our Level 3 BTEC students have also excelled with 87% of grades at Merit or above and 25% at Distinction or above. These results demonstrate outstanding progress scores. 78% of last year’s Year 13 have gone on to study at university and will begin their courses in the next few weeks – we wish them well. Incredibly, 44% of students have secured a place in one of the top fifty universities and 84% of our students secured a place in at one the top 100 universities as identified by the University League Table, 2019.
We are looking forward to supporting our new year 7s on their exciting learning journey.
