Open Evening 2019

13 September 2019

On Tuesday 10th September we were delighted to welcome Year 6 pupils and their families to our Open Evening. Our visitors had an opportunity to hear from our new Headteacher, Mr Grant, who outlined his vision and values for our school. Our fantastic pupils gave guided tours so that our visitors could see every part of our school. The Year 6 pupils did exciting experiments in Science, challenging activities in Maths and tried trampolining and other sports with the PE department. Every department in school showcased the talents and abilities of our staff and students. The feedback from our visitors was exceptionally good with many comments about the warmth of the welcome they had received and the professional and friendly manner of our pupils. One of our visitors wrote:

“Can I please thank the school for an excellent open evening yesterday. We were very impressed with the whole school, but especially the passion shown by the teachers in their teaching of children and Mr Grant’s ethos and vision for the school. St Edmund Campion is our first choice [as] a lot of Mr Grant’s values are values we instil in our son at home.”

It was a lovely evening and we look forward to seeing many of our visitors in our school uniform in September 2020!
