    Good Shepherd Mass – Monday saw a group of students from each house travel to St Chad’s Cathedral in Birmingham to attend the annual Good Shepherd Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Bernard Longley. The Mass is a celebration for all schools across the Archdiocese, in recognition of the hard work the students & staff have put into fundraising for the charity.     On Monday our young leaders spent the day in glorious sunshine leading the primary schools Commonwealth Games Day. Our leaders did a fantastic job yet again, delivering a tri-golf event to over 600 primary school children.   • Impressive Interviewers

    Impressive Interviewers

    On 24th May, five of our students participated in interviews for a new member of staff. Hannah Lonergan, Nicole Samuels, Sean Maughan, Sean Kitaka and Alan Sajan were chosen because of their outstanding attitude to the Catholic life of our school. They met prior to the interviews to discuss the job role and wrote their own questions. They were outstanding interviewers and the candidates commented on their professionalism and courtesy.     Year 7 have been studying Earth and Space. Three students from 7O have produced some fantastic models of the Solar system. Also we have been modelling the Solar System in lessons and our students have created this model with Miss Gibbs in the playground. Read More

  • Duke of Edinburgh Training Camp

    Duke of Edinburgh Training Camp
    8th June 2018

    Congratulations to our 13 year 9 pupils who attended the Duke of Edinburgh training camp during the first weekend of half term. We successfully managed to miss most of the thunderstorms that threatened the Midlands and fortunately our tents stood up to the weather. Pupils now need to keep practicing their map and compass skills so that we can move towards completing our final camp. The other 12 DofE students will be attending their training camp later this summer. Read More

  • Sutton Fun Run

    On Sunday 24 members of staff from Campion took part in the Sutton Fun Run. 8.5 miles in blistering sunshine! Everyone did exceptionally well and all finished the race. We have raised a lot of money for both Acorns and the Birmingham Children's Hospital and we are extremely proud and grateful to the staff who took part. Read More

    12-Week Crime Awareness Programme

    Following the success of the nationwide BBC news report, the Guardian have also written a piece on the outstanding work that the students and the school are doing to raise awareness of keeping safe in the community. Chance to Shine and TSA projects are working with us at school to support our students with a programme that engages them to positively interact within school and outside of school.   • Year 9/10 Netball Sports Partnership

    Year 9/10 Netball Sports Partnership

    The year 9/10 netball squad were undefeated in their school sports netball tournament on the penultimate day of last half term. The girls were an absolute credit to themselves and the school, on another very warm afternoon. The girls now join the year 7/8 squad in the Level 3 finals competition on Thursday 12th July at King Edwards Girls School Edgbaston. The ‘super’ finals recognises the best teams throughout the city of Birmingham. Read More
