    Year 10 B Team Champions

    On Wednesday 18th October six Year 10 students travelled to Erdington Academy to compete in the Birmingham School Games B Team 5-a-side Football Tournament. Campion got off to a great start winning 2-1 against Erdington Academy with Tyrone grabbing the winner with the last kick of the game. Next up was Stockland Green, Campion dominated the game but wasted a host of chances eventually grabbing the winner to secure a 1-0 win. Read More

    Students Learn To Make Pizza

    On Thursday Mrs Trueman and Mrs Brady took a group of year 7 students to Pizza Express in Sutton Coldfield to learn the process and ingredients of making pizza. The students were able to have a go at tossing the dough before making their own pizza to take away. Pizza Express staff were extremely friendly, organised and helpful. Our students were an absolute credit to St Edmund Campion School and would like to thank Mrs Tubb for organising the trip which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Read More

    A group of pupils made the trip to Bodymoor Heath to receive some high quality coaching. They were put through their paces buy some of Villa rising stars and it is safe to say they enjoyed it.     Last weekend the Year 13 Geographers travelled to Betws-y-Coed in Wales to carry out fieldwork and data collection in preparation for their non-examined assessment as part of their A-Level Geography course. The Human Geographers carried out questionnaires, land use surveys and bi-polar analysis in Betws-y-Coed! The Physical Geographers carried out beach profile measurements, sediment samples and environmental analysis on Criccieth beach!     We have had a very positive start back to Sixth Form. All of Year 12 have enjoyed a team building induction at Woodlands. We all enjoyed kayaking, the assault course, the water vines and the zip wire, in-spite of the rain! It was a wonderful opportunity to build our Sixth Form Learning Community.     St Edmund Campion are celebrating superb A-Level results again this year. The Sixth Form Team and all of the staff are absolutely delighted and very proud of the tremendous achievement of their Year 13 students. The Sixth Form secured an impressive 65 % A*-C in their A-Level examinations and 27% of A-Level entries secured were at A*, A, B. The overall pass rate was 100% with excellent progress rates.     St Edmund Campion Catholic school student’s descended on Wyndley Leisure Centre on Friday 7th July 2017. As the early morning sun beat down on the track each and every student from Year 7, 8 & 9 readied themselves to pitch their talents against peers from other houses.     Well done to the Year 7 Boys & Girls athletics teams who competed against; NBA, Erdington Academy, Greenwood Academy & Great Barr on Wednesday night. Each athlete took part in field, track and relay events. Big well done to Charlie Griffiths who won both his 100m& 200m races as well as Mya Whitehouse who smashed her 800m run!
