Dear Parents/Carers

I can't believe we've reached the end of the half term already! So much has happened at Campion that my first half term as Headteacher has flown by so quickly! From all our Catholic Life events, super learning days, sports events, trips out, workshops, parents’ evenings not to mention all the quality lessons going on, it really does show how much we are doing as a school. I would like to thank you as parents and carers for being so supportive of everything we are doing at school and I hope you can see the positive impact of the things we do. I'd also like to send my gratitude out to the pupils who really are showing what they are capable of and stepping up to our expectations of them. In particular I would like to thank the year 7 pupils who have settled in extremely well and have been a real asset to the school. 

A couple of key notices for next half term:

• Uniform standards are excellent at the moment. If you are planning to update uniform over half term please check out the uniform code on our website.
• The vast majority of pupils have done very well in bringing in their pencil cases in to school every day. Again, please make sure that ready for Monday 4th November (first day back) your child has their fully stocked pencil case and their planners (these can sometimes get lost over the holidays!)
• Year 11 and post 16 mock exams begin straight after half term on the Monday. Make sure you push your children to be revising over the break in preparation. 
• We will be having a remembrance service on Monday 11th November for all pupils
• Our wonderful 6th form open evening is on Thursday 21st November and all year 11 pupils are welcome
• There is a teacher training day on Friday 22nd November. 

Finally, a big thank you to all the staff at Campion who really do work exceptionally hard for your children.
