Year 11: Destinations 21/22:
I will be visiting each year 11 tutor group over this half term to discuss potential post 16 pathways, prior to a careers interview. Please discuss with your child their destination for after year 11 (St. Edmund Campion Sixth Form, College, Apprenticeship or Employment).
Year 11 Careers Interviews 21/22:
As part of our year 11 careers provision, your child is entitled to a careers interview with a careers advisor. Interviews will take place on Thursdays. Please check ParentMail regularly as timings will be communicated in this way.
Careers & Virtual Work Experience Opportunities:
To ensure students do not miss out on the latest careers opportunities that are available, these will be shown period 1 on a Monday morning through the morning PowerPoint.
Labour Market:
To ensure your child has access to the latest information on career paths and creation of new jobs within the city, information regarding the local labour market will be placed in the morning PowerPoint. This will allow for students to have the latest information explained to them via their form tutor.
Educational Visits:
Carding Mill Valley for the 5th and 9th November. If your child is involved in this a letter will be sent home with further information shortly.
STEM Parents Guide:
A parental guide to STEM – what STEM is, what are STEM subjects and how STEM can be used in later life - has been sent out to you via ParentMail. This will allow for you and your child to further explore what STEM has to offer.
