Year 9 students have an important few weeks ahead of them as they begin to make their choices for KS4 options this term. To support all students in making the right choices for them, the following events are taking place:

25th January 2021 |
Options Booklet is published. This will be sent via email to all students, and posted onto the school website. |

25th January – 5th February |
Year 9 Option subject teachers will be engaging with their classes on what is expected at KS4 for their specific subjects. |

1st February-4th February |
4 assemblies will be sent out, advertising options that are not currently taught at KS3 |
|
5th February |
Options Day. Students will watch an assembly about the options process, have the chance to speak to a member of staff with their parent/guardian and do career-based work. There will also be a further opportunity to ask any further questions to Mr Hussey at 2pm that day via a Teams forum. |

5th February |
At 2pm the options forms will open and students can begin to submit their choices |
|
10th February |
Options deadline and review. All students should have submitted their option choices and these will be reviewed before confirmation next half term. |
