Dear Parents/Carers

It has most certainly been an eventful week or so but I hope now that things are settling a little. I’m hoping that you have received all the necessary information you need at this time to enable your children to access their remote learning.

By now your children should be accessing their online learning via Microsoft Teams. We have sent information on this via Parentmail but it is also available on our website here: https://stendmundcampion.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/document/Parent-FAQ-on-Microsoft-Teams-10.1.21.pdf?t=1610354416

Please make sure your child is logged on every day to follow their usual timetable. The updated timings for the day can be found within this newsletter. They will need to upload their work as directed and please do send any great work to your child’s Head of Year so that we can celebrate what is being accomplished.

For those pupils in years 11 and 13 please rest assured that we are keeping up to date with developments regarding the situation around examination grades this year. Gavin Williamson, Secretary of State for Education, released a letter to Ofqual earlier this week outlining his parameters for how pupils will be awarded grades this summer and you can read this here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/951797/Letter_from_Gavin_Williamson_to_Simon_Lebus.pdf

If you are entitled to free school meals we will be sending out the vouchers for these as soon as they are ready. In the meantime, if you require a hamper you can collect one from school this week.
