Message from the Headteacher

09 October 2020

Dear Parents/Carers

I hope you are all keeping well.

Many thanks for your ongoing support and ensuring that your children are coming to school well prepared. This week we had to send the year 9 pupils home, unfortunately. However, I have to say that their response to the home learning and the remote elements of it has surpassed even my expectations. It is great to see the pupils fully engaging with this and well done.

Can I take this opportunity to remind you of a few things:

  • If your child develops any of the COVID symptoms you must not send them to school
  • Fully stocked pencil cases can be purchased from student services for £5
  • There is information within this bulletin about how you pay the school fund. Please can I ask that you do this as soon as possible

We will hopefully be able to start attending Mass soon as a school and will let you know more details when we are in a position to do so.

I will end this week with these words from St Teresa of Avila:

Let nothing disturb you

Let nothing frighten you

All things are passing away

God never changes

Patience obtains all things

Whoever has God lacks nothing

God alone suffices

Kind Regards

Mr A. Grant
