A Level Results 2023

The entire school community of St Edmund Campion Catholic School extend our congratulations to the Year 13 Class of 2023

The grades our students received today are testament to their resilience over a very challenging few years.

  • A*s were achieved in Psychology, Biology, Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Polish and Sociology
  • Di*s were achieved in Business, IT, Health and Social Care and Applied Science
  • 100% pass rates in Art, English Literature, Government & Politics, History, Maths, Polish, Sociology and Theology and in all BTEC subjects!

Some highlights in individual student results include:

  • Noah with Di*A*A*A who will study Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Year at the University of Birmingham
  • Laura with A*A*AB who will study Psychology at the University of Edinburgh
  • Scott with A*AAA who is taking a gap year before pursuing Dentistry
  • Daniel with A*AA who will be undertaking a Degree Apprenticeship in Law in Bristol
  • Amarachi with A*BB who will study Pharmacy at the University of Birmingham
  • Victor with AAB who will study Medicine at the University of Birmingham

Locally, we will send students to the University of Birmingham, Birmingham City University, Newman University, Aston University, Coventry University and Keele University.

Further afield, students will be going to universities across England, Scotland and Wales including the University of Glasgow, Kings College London, Bangor University, University of Gloucestershire, Aberystwyth University, University of Liverpool, Nottingham Trent University, University of Leicester, London Metropolitan University, Liverpool Hope University, De Montfort University, University of York, University of Lincoln, Manchester Metropolitan University.

Studying an array of subjects including Law, Architecture, Cyber Security, Mathematics, Sports Coaching, History, Criminology and Policing, Philosophy, Biochemistry, Biomechanical Engineering, Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Music, Sports Therapy, Secondary Physical Education with QTS, Astrophysics & Chemistry, Fashion Marketing & Branding, Health & Social Care, Child Nursing, Chemical Engineering, Physics with Astrophysics, Working with Children, Young People & Families, Finance & Investment.

Aside from university pathways, we have students embarking on apprenticeships in Forensic Science and degree apprenticeships in Law, students taking a year’s mission abroad, joining the police force and joining the world of employment.

The Sixth Form Team would like to extend our thanks to the teachers and pastoral staff who shared their knowledge and expertise with students throughout their time at St Edmund Campion. We send our warmest thanks to the families who supported our students, and our Sixth Form community, from day one.

Finally, we wish our students the very best of luck: we cannot overstate how proud we are of such a lovely group of young people. We hope the memories you have of Campion, the friendships you have forged and the knowledge and skills you have gained here form the strongest foundation for your bright futures, and we look forward to welcoming you back to inspire other students.
