Kenelm Youth Trust Visit

08 November 2019

Kenelm Youth Trust volunteers delivered an assembly on Monday to Sixth Form Students about the Gap Year opportunities they offer, working within the trust and with the young people of the Arch Diocese of Birmingham. This is a wonderful and unique opportunity to dedicate a year to supporting young people, having an opportunity to live in a community before experiencing university or the world of work, time to discover your faith and also develop many useful skills. If any Sixth Form Students would like some more information about a Gap Year at one of their centres then please speak to Mrs Griffiths, who many moons ago volunteered at Alton Castle and Miss Toland who completed a gap year at Soli House before university. When asked, Miss Toland said: “It was one of the most rewarding things that I have ever done. I learnt so much about myself, what it was like to live with others and made some best friends for life. I really recommend it.”
