    1st Battalion Visits Year 10 Students

    On Monday morning, year 10 had a visit from LSgt Moloney of the 1st Battalion Irish guards, he came to visit the year group to discuss the variety of career options available to students following the completion of GCSE examinations. LSgt Moloney informed the students of his own career path of entering the army at 16 after achieving a number of GCSEs and completing a variety of roles from combat through to human resources, as well as video case studies of careers in the army involving: Engineering, IT, Medical, Music, Logistics and the travel opportunities.     On Tuesday 11th June St Edmund Campion hosted the Catholic Partnership School Chess Competition. Daniel Tashaya, Ming Cen, Joshua Bourne and Ibrahim Rafiq represented Campion and played exceptionally well throughout. The school finished 2nd overall, and special mention must go to Ming Cen who won all of his matches before getting beaten in the final game to finish 2nd in the individual competition. Read More

    I know most of you finished your GCSE exams last Friday. I just wanted to take this opportunity to say congratulations to you all. You have conducted yourselves admirably these past five weeks and I sincerely hope all your hard work has paid off.     Ski 2020 – Crans Montana – Switzerland

    We are delighted to be able to offer pupils in year 7 -10 an opportunity to join the Birmingham Schools ski trip to Crans Montana in Switzerland from 1st - 7th March 2020. St. Edmund Campion will join approximately four other Birmingham schools to fly to Switzerland for 5 days of 5 hours skiing, along with evening activities. Read More
