A Message From Mrs Steele

Dear Parents/Carers

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support for the school this term.

There has been much activity in preparation for the GCSE, BTEC and A Level examinations.  It is vital that your son/daughter attends any relevant booster revision sessions over the Easter Holiday to ensure they are fully prepared.  In addition, it would be very helpful if you could ensure that your son/daughter revises thoroughly over the holidays to prepare for the examinations whilst also having quality family time.

From Monday to Thursday of this week commencing 8 April 2019 House Groups have taken part in, “The Way of the Cross” liturgies as part of their Easter preparation.  Well done to the Campion Chaplaincy Team who led the Drama, Readings and Singing, especially Millie, Tegan, Milly, Sophie, Verity and Callum.  Today, Friday 12 April 2019, the end of term Rewards Assemblies have taken place and it is delightful to see so many of our young people achieving rewards for their efforts over the term and it makes me very proud to be their Headteacher.

I do urge you to encourage your son/daughter to attend the Confessions and Easter Services at your local Church.  The Newsletter contains our local Parish Easter Services and Mass times.

During Lent the students have all worked extremely hard to support our Lenten Charities and have really showed themselves to be true Campionites.  A wide variety of activities have taken place involving staff and students including a non-uniform day (no labels) to raise funds as part of the Envision Project.  There have been many raffles and sales tables which have demonstrated the generosity of our students and their willingness to support those less fortunate than themselves.  To date approximately £1120.00 has been raised but a full break down will be recorded in the Newsletter after Easter once all the monies have been counted.

I wish you a very happy and Holy Easter.
