GCSE Year 9/10 London Trip

On Tuesday 10th July, 44 GCSE Geographers from Year 9 and 10 travelled to London for the day. They spent the morning looking around the Museum of the London Docklands and exploring Canary Wharf to see how it has changed over time. We even saw a glimpse of the RAF planes flying over London. In the afternoon we visited The Crystal – one of the world’s most sustainable buildings!!

They looked at how we can generate energy and prevent waste, with some even generating some electricity themselves!

To finish the day off, some had a ride on the Emirates Air-Line and took a cable car to Greenwich and back and saw some absolutely stunning views of the London skyline! An absolutely fantastic day enjoyed by all – the pupils were an absolute credit to St Edmund Campion!!
