Catholic Partnership Events

Last Friday saw a group of year 8 and 9 pupils take part in the Birmingham Catholic Partnership Event at Bishop Walsh. The pupils had a lovely day, enjoying the sunshine and displaying some fantastic sporting talent throughout the various activities.

The pupils took part in futsal, frisbee, handball and relay events, displaying excellent teamwork within each activity. St Edmund Campion finished 3rd overall out of 7 schools and should be proud of their efforts on the day.

Well done to all who took part and for representing the school so well.

Last Thursday also saw our students also took part in the Catholic Partnership chess tournament hosted at our school. Four schools attended, and 16 students played nearly three hours of chess! Congratulations to the team from St Thomas Aquinas who took the individual and team prizes. Well done to our team of Year 7 students who took part in the tournament for the first time.
