Sixth Form Envision

On Wednesday the 25th April four Year 12 students: Jay, Lily, Chloe and Dom travelled to Manchester. They gave a presentation on loneliness within the elderly and youth population to MPs and large corporate businesses. Businesses, such as the Co-op, are investing heavily in tackling the issues of loneliness which was a key element of our ENVISION work.

It was wonderful to represent Envision and our Sixth Form. We expected there to be a small audience 10 people, but we ended up talking to over 80 business people. We presented for half an hour and at the end, everyone applauded and commented on how confident and professional we were. Many even signed up to our Envision Group Instagram account. One of the business representatives came up to us at the end and commented on how impressed she was with our presentation and work.  She even gave us her business card in case we ever wanted to work with her in the future.  It was such a great opportunity that has really built our confidence and employability skills.
