Headteacher's Easter Message

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support for the school this term.

There has been much activity in preparation for the GCSE, BTEC and A Level examinations.  It is vital that your son/daughter attends any relevant sessions over the Easter Holiday to ensure they are fully prepared.  In addition it would be very helpful if you could ensure that your son/daughter revises thoroughly over the holidays to prepare for the examinations whilst also having quality family time.

Father Joe was on site on 22 March 2018 to hear confessions.  This was well attended by students.   On Monday of this week (26 March 2018) all students have taken part in “The Way of the Cross” liturgies as part of their Easter preparation.

I do urge you to encourage your son/daughter to attend the Confessions and Easter Services at your local Church.  The Newsletter contains our local Parish Easter Services and Mass times.

During Lent the students have all worked extremely hard to support our Lenten Charities and have really showed themselves to be true Campionites.  A wide variety of activities have taken place involving staff and students including a non-uniform day (no labels) to raise funds as part of the Y10 Envision Project.  There have been many raffles and sales tables which have demonstrated the generosity of our students and their willingness to support those less fortunate than themselves.  To date over £400.00 has been raised but a full break down will be recorded in the Newsletter after Easter once all the monies have been counted.

The end of term Rewards assemblies will be held during the first week back after the Easter holiday.

I wish you a very happy and Holy Easter.
